At FreightBooking, I served as the Lead Product Developer/Designer.
The pre-funding start-up was aimed at creating a transport management system with a network aspect for ad-hoc transport requests.
Objectives:
Strive to be the #1 application for trucking companies and logistics businesses in Belgium.
Enhance the efficiency of handling ad-hoc transports by leveraging a network where transporters can delegate tasks they cannot fulfil.
The power of our application was that the more users we would attract, the better the network for ad-hoc transports would become. Ad-hoc transports, which often require immediate solutions, involve numerous phone calls or emails to find a transporter. Our platform aimed to automate this process.
