Enhancing Figma's Image Fit Options

Our beloved Figma lacks a valuable feature: extended image fit options. As part of a Figma plugin I designed for a company providing dynamic ad automation, I needed to enhance Figma's capabilities accordingly. I was fortunate to experiment with this, and here is the result.

I aimed to maintain Figma's style to ensure a consistent look and feel while using this feature and to make it easy for Figma users to onboard.

Code Spacing vs. Perceptual Spacing

As an exciting add-on, I am sharing how I dealt with the spacing for the code purpose vs. the visual one. It is tricky to balance the needs of users who don’t care about technical details and coders who love logical and consistent patterns.
