Yuval Noah Harari's "Sapiens: A Brief History of Mankind" is a very popular nonfiction book that examines human history from a broad and provocative perspective. However, the cover design of the first edition was considered less attractive and did not reflect the complexity and broad scope of the book. The publisher decided to redesign the cover to increase the book's visual appeal and relevance.

I chose a symbolic and abstract illustration approach. The illustrations feature key elements of human history, such as people and text arranged in a spiral shape symbolizing the passage of time. The colors used are gradations of warm earth tones (red, black, white). Modern and bold typography is used for the title and author's name, giving the book a relevant and interesting impression.
