Upper Lucas Valley Eichler Homes community - custom artwork

Continuing my series of Eichler Home neighborhoods, I thought I would finish off Marin County, starting just a little north of Terra Linda in San Rafael, with Upper Lucas Valley. About 300 homes were designed and built by Claude Oakland and Jones & Emmons in the early to mid 1960s, many of them quite a bit larger than your average Eichler, including some 5 bedroom models. Oh, and for you Star Wars fans, George Lucas’ famous Skywalker Ranch is located just up the hill from this development.
