Coach.Quiz is an educational platform specializing in medical courses designed to help professionals enhance their knowledge and skills. With a growing user base, the platform required a more efficient way to manage and display their courses, ensuring a seamless and motivating learning experience.

Challenge

The existing My courses page lacked organization, making it difficult for users to navigate their courses and track their progress. There was a need to categorize courses based on their status (ongoing, completed, and all) and to implement a structured learning path that motivates users through progressive unlocking of content. Additionally, users needed the ability to filter and sort their courses to find relevant content more easily.

Solution

1. Course segmentation

   • Redesigned the My Courses page to segment courses into categories: Ongoing, Completed, and All.

   • This structure allows users to quickly find and manage their courses based on progress.

2. Filters and sorting

   • Implemented filters for courses by partner, area, and year.

   • Applied filters are displayed as tags for clear visibility; users can remove tags individually or clear all filters with one button.

   • Courses are sorted by progress descending by default, with additional sorting options available.

Results

The segmented view of their courses allowed users to efficiently manage their learning journey, improving user satisfaction and engagement. The addition of filters and sorting options made it easier for users to find relevant courses.
