Context for the Project

This section (calendar view) of the product is for managing field workers and is part of the main business management and communication software.

A major Western European airport using the product encounters some

user-experience problems in this area (calendar view) .

User Problem ↓

The calendar view doesn’t display user-friendly multiple service orders with similar time slots.

  • service order = user task

    (each service order has a card in the calendar)

With this behavior, if there are service orders that overlap, it is impossible to manage them in the calendar.

  • Case 1 - A smaller card with a hovering extension for short service orders.

  • Case 2 - Aggregation card for more than 2 service orders with similar time slots.

  • Green Card - At least 1 service order from dropdown is Completed / Done

  • Orange Card - At least 1 service order from dropdown is Unconfirmed / Delayed / Rejected
