Books of Note
Ever since I first picked up Letters of Note while working with Unbound, I have been a huge fan of Shaun Usher's work.
When he approached me to put together a site to showcase his Books of Note, I jumped at the chance to do justice to his incredible collection of letters and lists.
Harnessing the power of React, React-Router and Express, Books of Note is a universal JavaScript application—that is, it uses the same code base for the client side as the server side. Combining that with Webpack and hot reloading meant more time could be spent on finessing the design and user experience—not just on wiring the front and back-end together.
