Add a data model

Seam helps operations teams at fast-growing tech companies unlock data access for everyone. Business users can leverage conversational AI to get to insights previously siloed across multiple tools and data sources. With Seam, business users can become independent data practitioners without writing a single line of SQL.

In our design process we’ve focused on enabling business users at every turn. It was paramount to give them control on par with data analysts and engineers. That’s why every operation in Seam can be performed on two levels. Data-savvy users can still write SQL to create models, and perform complex data operations. Non-technical users can achieve the same results with a simple, natural language prompt.

One of the more evident examples of how Seam enables business users is the process of creating new models (Models are saved SQL queries). What was previously reserved for data analysts can be achieved by anyone by writing a prompt.
