Landing Page - Daily UI

Prompt: design a landing screen.

I chose to design for a fictional local bookstore that specializes in curating a small selection of fantasy novels.

Things I like about how this design turned out:

* the limited color palette supports strong branding and recognition

* the design makes use of the dragon's gaze to help direct user attention to the business name and location

* the featured item card would start with the book information hidden (like a dragon sitting on a pile of gold) and would include a motion interaction: sliding upward to draw customer focus

* the motion interaction can either be automated or controlled by the user tapping the arrow in the left corner of the element
