2D/3D Series 06 | How I store digital assets 👇

🚨🔥 I love pushing these abstract pieces, and that won’t stop, but I want to share some things I’ve been doing to evolve my artwork into something new. To see the process video here, find me on INSTAGRAM.

Instead of filling every shape with its own composition, it’s becoming more of a singular composition. To fill these gaps and negative spaces, I’ve been collecting textures. Sure, it may be a little busy, but I’m happy with the results.

These are some textures I purchased from trure grit a while back and just found them filed away in an old folder.I’ve been collecting them, converting the transparent PNG files, and creating a library of textures I can quickly import into and distort until I’m happy. Long story short, keep a library of assets you can easily access when you want to implement texture.

I store them in an organized folder in my iCloud for easy transferring between my computer and iPad.Rather than completely relying on brushes, I’m bringing in set textures that can easily mesh with what I’m already doing.

What I want to know below is: do you keep a library of assets you use?
