UX Gym Workshop - Redesigning Daniel’s Portfolio
No Daily UI Challenge for today!
Instead, I went to a UX Gym Training & Mentorship workshop, organized by Bonanza Studios. It was my first time there and I learned a lot!
We had the opportunity to work on a solo project of 5 hours, to redesign Daniel’s portfolio.
Daniel is a Junior Product Designer who has a technical background, and who wants to work in a big e-commerce company.
That’s why I decided to create a layout that looks like an e-commerce website 🛒
It was really nice to do this workshop, and I worked 3 more hours after receiving some feedbacks from a senior UX / UI Designer, and 3 other friends who work in the industry. We basically did a design critique, I’m very lucky to have these connections :)
The main change after iteration was about the general style of the design: I went for a neo-brutalism / Y2K retro-style that gives a pop of freshness to a more classic e-commerce layout.
Daniel is definitely a Gen Z ⚡
Until next time 🙌
