17/32 – Cincinnati Vultures Uniforms

Behind the Stitches

The Cincinnati Vultures' uniforms are approached with a modern take on an otherwise timeless design.

The birds have a wine red lid with a matching facemask. The primary vulture head logo is displayed on either side and the front and rear bumpers feature "Vultures" and "Cincinnati" wordmarks respectively.

While the helmets are relatively simple in design, the jersey tops and pants bring more innovation in the mix. The tops have options for a wine red at home or white on the road. On the sleeves are an ABA striping pattern that tapers towards the back of the uniform, mimicking bird wings.

This same striping mechanic is incorporated into the pants as well. An ABA stripe tapers downwards and curves right above the knee pad and terminates on the inside of the leg, leaving a unique-looking cut. Cincinnati has wine red, yellow, or white base pant color options.

The Vultures' jersey number set can be classified as a condensed sans serif with several modifications. Each letterform incorporates either sheared terminals or a sharp serif adornment to help convey an aggressive tone.

These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
