Stack - data, tasks & workflow suite, saas logo design

A few years ago I have explored this logo design concept for Stack, a SaaS / software development project that created a suite of tools that help organize data, tasks and workflows. The symbol was composed from 3 interconnected layers (representing data, tasks and workflows) that interact with each other. It also represents a very abstract S letter mark. Unused direction.
