Petits Rêves de Paname : A Tribute to Typographic Craftsmanship
Here’s the logo I designed for my company, "Petits Rêves de Paname," founded over 10 years ago. This logo highlights a Heidelberg letterpress, symbolizing my marking process, Letterpress. I crafted wedding invitations, birth announcements, and business cards, celebrating graphic craftsmanship and typographic precision. My love for letterpress printing remains strong, and this logo embodies the passion and artisanal expertise of my now-inactive company. However, I still create my business cards using this technique, ensuring quality. Are you familiar with Letterpress?
Magnesium Plates in Letterpress Printing
Magnesium plates are used in the letterpress process to create relief prints. These magnesium plates are engraved with the desired design, inked, and then pressed against paper to produce a sharp, precise impression. This technique is highly valued for its artisanal quality and ability to produce high-quality prints with fine details, making it ideal for wedding invitations, birth announcements, and business cards.
Business Cards / Visit Bottles
To stand out, I designed unique business cards in the form of small water bottles with my information on the label. This innovative project combines utility and creativity, offering an original medium for my professional details. Each bottle is not only a memorable way to be remembered but also a concrete example of my inventive approach to design. This initiative showcases my commitment to pushing the boundaries of conventional visual communication.
Original Heidelberg Teddy Bob
Installing my Letterpress in my artist studio was a moment of pure joy. Seeing this iconic machine take its place among my creative tools was a dream come true. I carefully supervised each step to ensure its safety and stability. This precious moment symbolizes my deep commitment to typographic craftsmanship and artistic creation, reinforcing my passion for producing unique, high-quality pieces.
