Al Jaber Gallery

Al Jaber Gallery is a novelty store chain present throughout the UAE. They offer a wide range of products and souvenirs that reflect the traditions, attractions, and cultural significance of the region.

I had the opportunity to work on the visuals incorporated into the interior of the Dubai Mall shop. Illustrations were printed out for the lightboxes of various sizes and animated for the circular LED screens.

Animations were designed to be repetitive but dynamic. They are engaging enough but not distracting from the rich environment of the store; that’s why the color palette is limited to sepia.

The idea was to create a series of animated wallpapers that depict the traditions with a focus on Dubai.
