This is something I’ve been doing for a long time. It’s something that is effortless to me. Creating series of illustrations that are all connected in some way. Why do I do this? I love it. It’s fun, it’s therapeutic, but most importantly, it has helped me develop both my design and illustration skills!

So, how do you create an illustration series? This is what I do:

1. Find something you ENJOY drawing; don’t care what others think about it. Even if it’s the same thing over and over.

2. Make it themed in some way. I see them as their own brand identity, and really my own personal brand identity. I do landscape illustration series over and over 😂 but I like to draw other things too 😜

3. Keep consistency in some way. I do this by color, texture, shapes, and compositions. Mix and match each of these items so that the series is connected.
