Always excited when I get the opportunity to work with the amazing 2D animation team. I got to convert their animated drawing into to 3D, rig some procedural dynamics, composite and create VFX to bring the magic all together.

Process of creation
Once getting the final drawn backgrounds I am responsible of either using what is given or recreating in 3D for a better display for a shot.

Comp
As the comp lead, I always try to make every shot look its best. It's my belief that when I get to the compositional stage, I should always treat footage, renders, and 2D animations as photos. Photos may look great coming straight from the camera, but it isn't until they are passed through post-process that they really shine. I use a range of techniques and theories that I've picked up through my years of experience to treat each shot as its own piece.
