PawPlace - Add a pet form UI UX Design
About the project
PawPlace is a shelter management system designed to streamline the pet adoption process. As a UI/UX designer, I was tasked with revamping the overall dashboard design, taking into account user needs based on the research and insights provided by the client.
The primary goal was to create a more intuitive and engaging user interface that catered to the diverse needs of shelter staff and potential adopters. Here's the original design:
After conducting comprehensive research and incorporating client feedback, I developed a brand-new visual identity that evokes the right emotions and delivers an aesthetically pleasing design, creating a captivating and enjoyable experience for end users.
Following multiple iterations, a new form design was crafted that thoughtfully addresses all user needs, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience.
The process focused on decluttering and simplifying the form. Using a Z-pattern layout, I adopted a mixed approach to align with intuitive form design principles.
The structure was streamlined into clearly labelled sections utilizing progressive disclosure, letting staff input primary details upfront and expand into additional fields only as needed.
