Jordina, The botanic dragon

"Jordina, The botanic dragon" is a cute vectorial illustration made with illustrator to celebrate "Sant Jordi", a popular festival from Catalonia, where every April 24 people traditionally give their loved ones a book and a rose.

The original tradition, which consists of giving a rose to women and a book to men is a little sexist. Its origin a legend where a princess is about to be devoured by a dragon, when a knight in its shining armor rescues her by killing the dragon and red roses begin to sprout from its blood.
