Zoom Host Blocks Chat

Often times, I find Zoom Chat incredibly distracting, the Zoom call is going on about a subject but the zoom chat is having a totally different conversation. So what if, the host has the ability to block the chat until the presentation is over and its opened up for questions. Surely I cant be the only one that gets distracted.
