Sir Pizza

I enjoy redrawing mascot logos I find, for the fun of the exercise, and this one was shared by another designer. They had a simple, hand-drawn pizza guy as part of their logo. It worked, and I wanted to redraw Sir Pizza in my own way. The above is the result, below is a revisioned logo, my sketches and the original logo.

Original sketches: Middle-top is the first one - you can see this one is closest to the original. Second mascot was top-right, followed by far-left, then finishing with the bottom-right. The last part I sketched for this version was the fella's head and I knew immediately I found the look I was searching for.
