About
We are Keitoto, handling all company design needs from creating pitch deck (ppt/keynote/slides), UI/UX, visual design for marketing, motion (explanation).
Background:
According to info from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) back in 2020, Indonesia had a whopping 20.94 million metric tons of food waste, putting us at number two for the most food waste in the world.
As far as I know, we still don't have a reliable system to control this food waste level, so there isn't a clear-cut solution yet for reducing food waste in Indonesia.
Solutions:
One solution I can suggest is to create an app, kind of like the normal food ordering apps, but specifically for ordering leftover food that's still good to eat.
Stores, food shops, restaurants, coffee shops, or cafes could sell their leftover food that's still good to eat on this app at slightly cheaper prices. This way, shop owners can still make a profit without any food going to waste.
On the buyer's side, since what's being sold is leftover food, sellers can't exactly specify which items are available. So, we can apply the "mystery box" concept here. Means that the sellers will pack different foods into one box for buyers to purchase. Sellers also need to give clues about what's inside the mystery box.
