UGG.com | A/B Test | Category Buttons | PLP
Here is a project that I worked on at all stages: research, journey mapping, hypothesis submission, design mockups, product management, project management, launch, and post-win implementation planning.
As you can see, this test was a big win with +19.2% uplift!
To capitalize on this win, I prioritized developing a category buttons template in dynamic yield software and wrote usage guidelines, which provided use cases and a planning template for site merchandisers to use. Once the planning template was completed by the site merchandiser, I reviewed the plan with them, made suggestions, and approved the plan. From there, I prioritized the work in product management software, created tickets in project management software for developers and ensured launch went smoothly through the scrum process.
I was able to launch category buttons on multiple product listing pages to create further uplift based on the results from this winning test.
The first slide is an example of the information I typically present to business stakeholders. The remaining slides are examples of how category buttons were implemented across the site.
