There is a new startup in town and their main goal is to fight climate change by optimising AC (air conditioning) usage - Cool Active!

They want to achieve this by making the usage of AC more visible and measurable to the users. In detail, they want to offer the following features in a mobile app for Android and iOS:

• Overview of the energy consumptions per day/week/month

• Tips to optimise the usage according to outside temperatures as well as the varying electricity price

• Details of how much energy, Co2 and money was saved by making use of the tips to improve the usage

The startup is collaborating with an AC manufacturer that ensures the AC has smart home/IoT equipment to send the necessary data to the app on the mobile phone.
