100% sustainable design, bioplastic, photography and creative direction.

This was my final project for one of my classes in the fourth semester. I spent many hours in the kitchen creating the perfect recipe for creating a bioplastic textile. This design was inspired by the voluminous silhouettes of Rey Kawakubo and by the color and mysticism of the seta fungi. This is a sustainable design. I used the zippers and fabric that my grandmother had in her abandoned studio, an old blanket that I had at home, reused fabric colorants, and the bio-plastic material made in my kitchen.
