Don Quixote Ballet Poster

A poster design (A1 Landscape minimum) for the ballet Don Quixote. Traditional posters often portray the iconic towering windmills, or Quixote sitting solemnly on his "stead" - all of them evoking a sad undertone. I wanted to design away from this constantly designed theme and instead have Quixote portrayed as he see's himself.

With an old sword held triumphantly by a frail hand to show Quixote's belief and subtle pink background to show romantic ideals I think it worked.
