the Male Silk Flea (Pale blue) and female (pale coral) also known as the scourge of the nobility, are a unique species that thrive in fresh silk. They gather in numbers in both the raw material of silk and silk woven into clothing and furniture. Their bites are painful and their rock hard shells make them challenging to exterminate.
