Dashboard UI Design
I recently tackled a design exercise for a job opportunity, and although I didn't get a job offer, I believe the outcome is worth sharing.
The task involved creating a dashboard for a company specialising in temporary housing solutions for large corporations when relocating their employees. The task's outcome was to showcase incident tracking for rentals, along with metrics to monitor resolution times and more.
My approach was centred on providing a clear overview of the company's incidents at any given moment. Users could then easily drill down into specific incident metrics. I tried to think what information users would want on the screen and how they could seamlessly dive deeper into individual items on the dashboard.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! What do you think of my approach, and is there anything you would have done differently? Let's chat about it!
