Searching

In the illustration work named "Searching", the situation of people who have become the agenda in the world in recent years, getting away from the existing space, the world that is starting to run out, and the perception of reality, and the situation of seeking different ones is based on. The idea that humanity has a desire to discover a new planet or a virtual environment suitable for life is reflected in the design, especially based on the futuristic projects carried out by large companies regarding space, and the fictional and virtual universe models such as the metaverse that have recently entered our lives. The eyes used in the illustration represent people who are in search, and it is emphasized that these innovative virtual environments are dimensionless and frightening, like a black hole that unconsciously engulfs humanity, even if there are exciting discoveries by drawing these eyes in by a swallowing hole.

“Arayış” adlı illüstrasyon çalışmasında son yıllarda Dünya’da gündem haline gelen insanların var olan mekândan, tükenmeye başlayan Dünya’dan ve gerçeklik algısından uzaklaşmaya ve farklı arayışlara girmesi durumu esas alınmıştır. Özellikle büyük şirketlerin uzayla ilgili yürüttüğü gelecekçi projeler, yakın zamanda hayatımıza giren metaverse gibi kurgusal ve sanal evren modelleri baz alınarak, insanlığın yaşama elverişli yeni bir gezegen ya da bir sanal ortam keşfetme arzusu olduğu fikri tasarımda yansıtılmıştır. İllüstrasyonda kullanılan gözler arayışta olan insanları temsil etmekte ve bu gözlerin yutucu bir delik tarafından içeriye çekilmesi ile de heyecan verici keşifler olsa dahi bu yenilikçi sanal ortamların insanlığı bilinçsizce içine çeken bir kara delik misali boyutsuz ve korkutucu olduğu vurgulanmıştır.
