I am excited to share this illustration I did for New Republic Magazine. The illustration is for an article reviewing a new book by Mary Beard about Ancient Rome. "SPQR", her book, asserts that the glory of Rome was more about the collective, rather than singular powerful emperors, as we've come to believe.
