Project Description

While designing an ecommerce app for products delivery, I wanted to break down the composition of the app in 2 parts: the User Experience and the Visual (UI) Content.

This part of the project focuses on the journey the user has to take while browsing through the app.

Sitemaps

The first challenge was to visualise the whole navigation journey that the user can take and try to materialize it in a sitemap.

User flows

After composing the sitemap, the next step into visualising the user's journey was through transforming data-based navigation actions into visuals on a mobile screen.

Hence, I composed the user flows linked to the sitemap. Above is an example of a user flow containing the steps taken while searching for a product through the app.

Wireframes

Lastly, I created some wireframes for the pages of the product in order to introduce prototyping navigation. In the image above there are 3 pages depicted: the Homepage, the Profile page and the Cart.

This is the last step of the UX Design component of the final project, before heading to UI elements.
