Movie Poster Design l Martial Art Ong-Bak

This poster is the first in a series of three on martial arts movies, Ong-Bak, Prachya Pinkaew (2004)

Asian martial arts cinema is an important part of my tastes and influences in terms of art. It summarizes and illustrates the complexity of simplifying artistic processes; the vision of a sequence shot orchestrated by choreography becomes a seemingly simple feat to achieve. It’s a bit like the heart of the graphic designer’s profession, simplifying a message while propagating it via technicality. The overall aesthetic of these films is unique and timeless. Long live the fight at the cinema
