Delvig typeface
Delvig is a new take on the concept of superfamily, inspired by romantic typography of the first third of 19th century. That style was called to life by the increased expressivity and complexity of typographic communications. Commissioned by Literaturnaya Gazeta newspaper, Delvig comes in two versions—serif and slabserif. Different styles of Delvig –roman and italic, regular and heavy, monoline and high-contrast – have been meant to work together in various combinations.
Delvig was awarded at the Modern Cyrillic type design competition in 2019.
