Web Redesign UX Case Study

Task:

Our task during studies was to organize ourselves into groups, select an internet service for analysis and redesign. We chose an online store that specializes in the sale of honey and bee products. Our goal was to improve the functionality and aesthetics of the website.

About website:

It’s an online store where you can buy bee-related products (honey, bee pollen, bees)

Target Audience:

The target audience includes retail customers interested in a healthy lifestyle and natural products, as well as beekeepers.

Conclusion:

During the website analysis, we noticed several significant issues like outdated design and too many and too vibrant colors. Additional problems included unclear forms and confusing menus. Mobile version also had some issues requiring immediate attention.

Based on our analysis, we concluded that the website should be redesigned to better reflect the owner's passion. We wanted to retain the colorful and illustrative character of the site but at the same time avoiding an overly childish appearance. Our goal was to create a project that would be attractive to the target audience, but also professional.

While redesigning, we decided to use modern solutions, minimize colorful elements for improved clarity, but maintain a friendly and engaging character. We improved the responsiveness of the site, so users could enjoy comfortable navigation regardless of the platform used.

Goal of our project is not only the aesthetic improvement of the website but also to increase its attractiveness to customers and to make the purchasing process easier.
