OpenCore Agency - Hero Section UI UX Design Exploration

Concept:

Embracing the dynamic island trend, my design exploration for OpenCore's website aimed to seamlessly integrate a simplified app icon-style navigation. The primary challenge was ensuring that users recognized the clickability of the icons, particularly with accompanying text for enhanced readability.

Problem:

The challenge at hand was to effectively convey that each icon was interactive and to address the potential readability issues associated with icon-only navigation. I needed a solution that not only communicated clickability but also provided clarity by incorporating text alongside the icons.

Solution:

To overcome these challenges, I implemented a subtle yet effective icon interaction. The initial icon is subtly elevated, revealing the associated text such as "Home." This interaction serves as a visual cue, guiding users to understand the functionality of the navigation bar. The approach not only resolves the clickability concern but also enhances user comprehension of the navigation system.

PS: In the video above the visual cue effect is not implemented πŸ˜… but the original solution has everything. It'll be posted on the official OpenCore account. So do make sure to follow OpenCore. I'll be posting more of my work there as well.

I hope you guys like it ❀
