For Vine: SUGAR FANGS - HOUR OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Sugar Fangs is a sweet pain of a concept embodied by a female artist and their work. Sugar Fangs has the mission to create concoctions of scenes that pierce the mind with a healing view and a warm, caramel sonic pallete.

The Illustration uses a play on the words in the whole package’s title ‘Sugar Fangs - Hour Of Consciousness’ by creating a spilling hour-glass that pours its sugary sands into a set of fangs that pierce the brain as a precise dosage of venom-drawn medicine.

The different colours of liquid pouring into the container in the picture speak to the chemistry of the whole reaction with the venom/medicine and the brain, and thus creating a flow of consciousness.

The illustration’s imagery goes deeper as the sands of the time are outlined to create a DNA-strand (as seen in the background pattern) to signal towards the element of creation’s instructions being broadcast through time, and for us humans its the time we are given to be alive. In a sense, we are also responsible for our own DNA.

And thus Sugar Fangs’ call to action through this music release speaks to us all across the board.
