Stare Powązki

Stare Powązki Cemetery is a symbol of Warsaw and one of the most important necropoli in Poland. Established in 1790, it has become the burial place of more than 1 million people, including some of the most significant figures in Polish history and culture.
In cooperation with the Stare Powązki Foundation, we have completely redesigned its mobile application, improving the architecture and making it much more intuitive for users.
While walking through Powązki, visitors can discover the final places of rest commemorating writers, poets, actors and actresses, musicians, politicians, activists and military leaders. The app facilitates finding graves, navigating around the cemetery, taking themed walks and learning about the lives of the people buried there.
