Symbol: Concept and Anatomy

Been working on putting to together the process behind a recent branding effort for a location-based tracking app. This is a snapshot from part 1, all B&W, the focus is on concept. Part 2 will show how color transforms the idea.

I am also designing UI for the app which is currently being tested and refined.
