Finchwood’s House

Little interactive map/game design I did a few weeks ago for my Interactive Illustration class with the animation legend himself Noam Sussman.

The game design was based on the idea of raising awareness about the importance of conserving wildlife in Canada.

House Finches are native to western North America and have been introduced to the eastern half of the continent and Hawaii. They are peculiar birds that lay turquoise eggs and whose cup-shaped nests are extremely adorable.

Upon entering the game, the player must click on the mailbox for instructions. Later you must complete all the tasks to help these first-time parents to receive their baby.

Scroll down to see some closeup shots of the illustration and some of the loops/animations I did for the game.
