We recently designed a mockup explaining 8 tests we'd run for American Reserves to increase their overall conversions:

1) Make sure the announcement bar provides a CTA so that users can take the desired action quickly.

2) Separate the copy from the hero image. By breaking it out users can understand both messages more easily.

3) Don’t let your hero headline get lost. Utilize weight and font size to show hierarchy. This will be one of the first things to catch the user's eye so make it stand out.

4) Include some of the top bullet points that set your product apart. Give users a quick idea of what they can expect from your products. Let them see those great qualities right off the bat so that there are no surprises.

5) Include a full-width CTA on mobile to ensure that the CTA is easily recognizable and ensures a lower rate of misclicks.

6) Use colors that pop to highlight those important badges. This will draw the attention of the user and communicate those deals quickly.

7) Utilize color differentiators to showcase the deals on your products. Make the new price stand out.

8) Give users quick access to purchase from your homepage by adding add-to-cart links to get them into the purchase funnel quickly.
