Hops Domino Beer Label

From Inspiration to Can

This label wasn't a quick jam session – it was carefully crafted, inspired by the rock and roll legend, Fats Domino. I started with moodboards, building an assortment of vintage concert poster clippings, other successful beer labels, and finally, translating these ideas and inspirations into sketches on paper.

Next, the type design – the rhythmic heart of the label. Inspired by a concert poster that embodied the whimsy and energy I wanted to capture, each letter became a character, dancing and bouncing across the label like an impromptu jam session.

Then came the branding, taking a step back from the immediate label design. I envisioned The Brewer's Muse itself, a place where Fat Domino's tunes lingered in the air. Key to this brewery is hops, so I placed it front and center.

Hops Domino's label wasn't just slapped on – it was a crafted experience. From concert poster inspiration to 3D renderings, each step echoed the beer's personality. So grab a virtual can, and get ready to groove to the beat of a perfectly hazy Double IPA.
