I decided to design a new apartment locater app that included a low income housing tax credit (LIHTC) tab, to include households that need a simpler way to locate affordable housing.

Thought Process

I decided to design this app with more cooler tones because the overall market has a similar color scheme. It feels familiar to the user and it isn't overwhelming on the eyes. I know I did most of my apartment browsing laying in bed at midnight.

I designed the navigation bar and Floating action button to be in close proximity of the thumb to avoid over extending the hand and making the user uncomfortable. At any point, the user is able to use the FAB to change the filters of what type of home they are searching for and update the browsing page.
