Since 1990, the Lampedusa Turtle Rescue volunteers have been tirelessly dedicated to ensuring optimal care and rehabilitation conditions for injured sea turtles in the waters of the Pelagie Islands, the channel between the western and eastern Mediterranean, and the sea between Sicily and Tunisia.
