JAZZY VIBE (3 WORKS)

Jazzman trampeter, musician playing jazz on trumpet

Let me start by saying that I really love jazz. This special vibe of jazz bars with the clatter of glasses, noise and laughter, subdued light and warm colors, and the cool sound of live instruments, combined to create a beautiful jazz melody.

Inspired by this vibe, I decided to convey the mood of this music through my creativity. The works are different in mood, as the jazz music is also different. Sometimes funky and groovy, sometimes mysterious, melancholy and touching.

I want to share with you how I created these works.

First photo:

Stage 1:

Inspired by Chet Baker, with his atmospheric melodies and voice, I invited a talented trumpet player I knew for a photo shoot on the street. He played passionately and filled the streets with the sound of jazz. In the meantime, I photographed him.

Stage 2:

Post-processing. I decided to create a groovy funky mood with bright colors and careless lines, deliberately leaving here and there careless brush strokes to show that jazz is often improvisation and playing not according to the rules and canons of music. The background resembles space. With this I wanted to show how rich and deep this music is

I'm interested in your opinion. Write comments, like if you enjoy and subscribe to see new works on music and jazz.

Second photo:

I love pop art. Sometimes jazz looks like pop art and evokes the same colorful and vibrant emotions!

Therefore, I decided to put the saxophone in the foreground, make it bright but like the night lights of the city, and at the same time put it on a vitamin-rich, bright, positive and empowering yellow-greenish background.

Wow combination in my opinion! I'm enjoying these colors!

Night lights of the saxophone and bright feelings and emotions of sunny Tuscany! Do you like mix?

Third photo:

Do you like moody and foggy jazz? Sometimes it is so ideal for rainy or snowy weather, a romantic evening, or when you just want to be alone with yourself.

Having photographed a jazzman playing, I decided to give the work exactly the look that conveys this mood and this type of jazz. The musician seems to be in a haze, but at the same time the haze is dynamic and in motion, thereby showing that a melody can sound calm and measured, but sometimes evoke a storm of feelings and emotions stronger than bright, active and positive jazz can evoke.

It is interesting to know your thoughts and feelings that my works and descriptions of them evoked in you. I’ll be glad to read it in the comments. Please like if you enjoyed it and subscribe to see new works.

Thank you!
