Uber - Decreasing Cancellations - Ride Streak

I was helping a friend with a product management case study which focused on reduction of ride cancellations in the Uber/Ola ecosystem. It was a rigorous 1 month project that led to a concept called Ride Streak - if a user chooses not to cancel a certain number of times, they would get a discount.

As Uber users, we tend to cancel if the price is high, or the time to wait is too long. That affects drivers very badly. Taking that into consideration, solving for the rider-side turned out to be the optimal way of decreasing ride cancellations.
