Palmio Poster Architectural Overprint Illustration

Last year I participated at a Finnish poster competition Paimio Sanatorium 90 – Human Perspective, where this was chosen in the top 24 works for the exhibition. The theme was a tribute to famous architect Aivar Aalto and the Sanatorium designed by him. this poster shows the building in its tranquil environment and the people within it. I really loved how the shadows of the pines made the building look incorporating the building into the nature. I designed it in overprint style so it could be printed in riso. Glad I finally got to share this and hope you'll enjoy it.
