The White Lotus is a TV series that gives us an isight into the struggles of the upper class. In the series the location and its history play an important role in telling the story. The second season is set in Sicily which was the inspiration for still life compositions referencing the Italian paintings of vanitas and memento mori. The posters offer a symbolic representation

of the moral of the story.
