UI & Motion Microinteractions - Taylor'd Home Decor App

Project Type: Case Study App

Product: e-shop app for a fictional Interior Design and Decoration brand, Taylor'd.

Role: UX/UI, Interaction and Motion Design, Branding (solo)

Case Study Focus: Prototyping and motion design with Figma: the use of motion graphics and transitions give a better idea of a possible usable product, allowing the prototype phase to be more complete and anticipate possibilities, issues and solutions. For this case study I incorporated simple standard microinteractions with the main purpose to make the user experience more fluid and engagingly responsive.

Visual Identity: For the visual identity of TAYLOR'd I envisioned a contemporary Interior Design oriented feel. It was important that the visual style was relatively neutral, based on calm earthy colours. The mood should be then quiet, subtle, but also convey style and exclusiveness.
