Psychology Logo
Hey, folks 😍
I'm back today with another logo design that I've made for the psychology department of a German university. The logo consists of three main elements which are combined in a unified way:
1. The Greek capital letter psi which is widely known as the symbol of psychology
2. oak leaf, as a symbol of wisdom and knowledge
3. Janus, an ancient Roman God which I think is related to psychology in many
ways(of course these connections are according to the design brief). but you also can perceive it as two heads that are sharing thoughts and minds. Moreover, this symbol is depicted in a way that conveys an abstract brain-like symbol in the surrounding space by oak leaves to make a more solid connection to the field of interest.
