Brochure Design Interior Design/Colors

This was a project for one of my classes. Although we were given the assignment specifically for an Interior Design Brochure, we were responsible for creating the color palette, choosing the best images we could find and their placements on the brochure and what the font(s) should look like. The neon green colors caught my eye, and I started out with a test of this color with a black color palette. Although it did not look bad, I then thought of the grey to bring out both colors a bit more. So, I applied the grey color, and it looked perfect! The layout took me roughly a week to put together before I made the official decision. The layout of the text was also tricky, especially towards the bottom where it says "Carson". I did not want that to stand out too much, but I also did not want it to be difficult to acknowledge/see on the brochure. I also wanted the balance at the top with the text in the first 2 boxes and the images I placed at the bottom. Simple, Modern, Creative and Professional were the keywords I used when creating this piece.
